"Roos in Space" was recorded just a couple weeks before the pandemic hit, Feb 22nd to be exact. In true CYOA style, there was one rehearsal (about 2 hours long, in Pat's little attic practice room) and one day in the studio. The band had been touring and working with their other projects a lot over the preceding months, and hadn't had a lot of opportunities to play together, so the resulting tunes are an expression of the very real, very good time they had coming together to make an album. Also, as usual, one track was written entirely in the studio - this time it's the single, "Hooloo." Ask a band member about the evolution of that particular name sometime. Anyway, CYOA hopes you dig this album as much as they do! Stay cool, and enjoy your light-hearted funky romp through outer space.
